We’re a husband-and-wife web studio. We build sites for restaurants, shops, and local service businesses, and we stick around afterward to keep them running.

Services

  • Care plan

    $150–300 / month

    We host the site, run the updates, keep backups, and check it every month. When your hours change or there’s a new special, email us and we’ll put it up.

  • New website

    $2,500–6,000

    A fast site you can update yourself. We plan it around the one or two things your customers come for, like checking the menu or booking a table, and build it to meet WCAG 2.2 AA.

  • Accessibility audit and fix

    $1,500–3,000

    We test your current site against WCAG 2.2 AA. Some of that is automated, but a lot of it is us using the site with a keyboard and a screen reader. Then we fix what’s broken in the code and send you a list of what we changed.

  • Free site check

    $0

    Send us your web address. We’ll look at your homepage and one other page and tell you in plain terms what’s slow, what breaks on a phone, and what an automated accessibility scan turns up. It’s a quick look, not a full audit.

We don’t use overlay widgets

You’ve probably seen the little accessibility toolbars that claim to fix a site with one line of code. They don’t touch the code underneath, and people using screen readers often have to work around them. We’d rather fix the site itself.

How it works

  1. Talk

    A short call. We want to hear about your business and what the site needs to do for it.

  2. Plan

    We send a fixed-price proposal, so you know the cost and the timeline up front.

  3. Build or fix

    We do the work, then test it ourselves on a phone, by keyboard, and with a screen reader before you see it.

  4. Keep it running

    If you sign up for a care plan, we take it from there.

Trestle Web Studio is the two of us, a husband and wife. There’s no account manager in the middle. The people you talk to are the people building your site. Most of our clients run restaurants, shops, or local service businesses.

We build every site to meet WCAG 2.2 AA, so people who use screen readers, keyboards, or zoom can use it too. We don’t give legal advice, and no audit can promise a legal outcome.
